Journal Entry 15 June 2021
The first US Hefy youth group completed their trip to South Africa and Mozambique. The group did a Johannesburg day tour on 11 June and flew back to the US the same evening. The trip was a great success and shows that safe end fun travel is possible. The second group all tested negative for Covid and are now in Mozambique. We look forward to receiving group 3 on 23 June 2021.
Three guests from Italy are currently in Kruger and having a great time.
We are monitoring the 3rd Covid wave which has hit South Africa. So far not too severe and we hope it passes quickly. We don’t need more restrictions. We need faster vaccine roll-out and continued adherence to protocols for the near future.
