Vilanculos is home to long pristine beaches and offers stunning views to take your breath away. The beautiful bay has calm and shallow waters which are ideal for water sports and fun in the sun. Just beyond the bay is the magnificent Bazaruto Archipelago, a chain of islands in a marine national park. We go there as well.

Day by Day Itinerary for 6 Day Mozambique Luxury Tour

Day 1: Casa Rex boutique hotel

On arrival you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Bahia Mar boutique hotel in Vilankulo, Mozambique offers luxury accommodation and is a world class holiday & honeymoon resort. The hotel overlooks the crystal-clear turquoise Indian Ocean & Bazaruto Archipelago Islands. All rooms are sea facing with easy beach access and provide stunning ocean views. Often a cool breeze filters through. Rooms are also air-conditioned, with wireless internet access available throughout the hotel & satellite TV in the public area.

Today you settle in and start enjoying your tropical holiday. As you will learn, there are several water based and land based activities you can partake in.

Day 2: Activities

Today you can decide how and where to explore and what activities to partake.

Water based activities include swimming, snorkeling, scuba, fishing, boat and dhow cruises. You can also see whales and dolphins in season.

Land based activities include spending time on the beach, walks, hiking, bird watching, horse riding, zip lining, local markets and shopping.

You can also decide to treat your self to a massage and spa treatment.

Day 3: Activities

Today is another lazy and carefree day at your beach paradise. Enjoy a full course breakfast and decide how to spend your day.

You have many options. If you like diving you have the best dive spots at hand. Maybe you want do some fishing, whale watching, horse riding or just take it easy and relax on the beach or around the pool.

Day 4: Bazaruto Archipelago

Day 5: Activities

After a scrumptious breakfast you can plan and decide your day as you please. There are several water sports including deep sea fishing, sailing, traditional dhow excursions, snorkeling and diving. You can also go on an island tour where you travel in a 4 x 4 and explore all the island has to offer.

You can enjoy facilities at the resort such as spa treatment, use the fitness center, play volleyball, visit the coral garden or simply take it easy and relax.

Day 6: Drop off in Volanculos

This is sadly the last day of your tropical island escape. After breakfast we transfer you by boat to mainland and drop off in Vilanculos by arrangement.

This might be the end of your paradise getaway but you will wonderful memories, photos and memorabilia to take home with you.
