Safari can start at different starting points

Day by Day Itinerary for 10 Day Botswana Safari

Day 1: Fly into Maun, Botswana

Your dedicated guide will meet and welcome you at Maun Airport.  You will then be treated for lunch during which your guide will brief you on the itinerary and exciting program ahead, There will also be some time for last minute shopping before heading into the Delta.

After checking in at a luxury lodge you will have time to unwind and relax.

Dinner and overnight in luxurious surroundings.

Day 2: Safari activities in the Delta

Early morning pick-up and transfer to the boat station where your 3-hour Mokoro Safari will begin. Mokoro safaris are spent cruising quietly along reed lined channels and floodplains. You will enjoy the spectacular landscape of this unique region with a combination of mokoro excursions and guided nature walks on the islands and floodplains of the Okavango.

Lunch will be prepared and served by your Mokoro guide on the banks of the Okavango Delta before heading out on a guided Game Walk on one of the many wildlife abundant islands within the Okavango Delta.

Day 3: Safari Activities in the Delta

After a hearty breakfast you will be transferred to the boat station where your 3 hour Boat Safari will begin. Lunch will be prepared and served by your Mokoro guide on the banks of the Okavango Delta before heading out on a guided Game Walk on one of the many wildlife abundant islands within the Okavango Delta.

Day 4: Safari Activities in Moremi Game Reserve

This morning will be an early start to the day as you will experience an exciting Safari through the world-renowned Moremi Game Reserve.

During this safari we make our way to the Iconic Khwai area of Botswana where you will be checked in to your Luxury lodge late in the afternoon

Day 5: Safari activities in Khwai

A full day of Safari activities in the predator rich area. Open vehicle safari activities and optional game walks.

Day 6: Khwai to Chobe National Park

After a delicious breakfast we leave Khwai behind and game drive to the Chobe National Park. Chobe is home to the largest populations of elephant herds.

Day 7: Chobe to Vic Falls

Drive through Chobe National Park on route to Vic Falls.

Late afternoon we cross into Zimbabwe and check into a luxury accommodation in Victoria Falls.

You will have some time to refresh before departing on dinner cruise on the impressive Zambezi river.

Day 8: Optional Activities in Victoria Falls and Transfer to Zambia

Tour of Vic Falls and 2 or 3 optional activities at own cost.

Before crossing into Zambia and checking into your luxury accommodation, you will have some time to relax before your sunset cruise on the Zambezi.

You will spend the night in Zambia.

Day 9: Optional activities

Tour to Devils Pool and optional activities at own cost.

Day 10: Airport transfer – end of tour

After a scrumptious breakfast you will be transferred to Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport (LVI)

for your outbound flight.

Optional activites at own cost on day 8 and 9 can be chosen from the list below:

• 15 minutes microlights over the Victoria Falls (185 USD per person)
• 15 minutes helicopter flights over the Victoria Falls (186 USD per person)
• Game drive in Mosi O Tunya National Park with a chance to see the white rhinos (60 USD per person)
• Livingstone Island visit - Devil's Pool (seasonal, from 145 to 170 USD per person, does not include transfers - 20 USD per person return trip)

Arrival by airplane

Please book your flight to arrive at Maun Airport (MUB). Airport transfers from this airport are included. Your private guide with Luxury safari vehicle will pick you up from the airport. You will be dropped off at Victoria Falls Airport (VFA).
