Schedule for 4 Day Kruger Budget Safari

Day by Day Itinerary for Kruger Safari

Day 1: Johannesburg to Kruger

This Kruger budget safari departs daily from Johannesburg.  6.30 am – 7 am Pickup from your hotel or OR Tambo Airport.

You travel East passing picturesque landscapes and farmlands on route to our lodge near Kruger. There are two 15 minute comfort stops en route. You will also be able to buy snacks and refreshments during these comfort stops. ETA to The Kruger National Park is around 1 pm.

After check in you will have time to relax and freshen up before boarding an open sided safari vehicle for an exciting 2 – 2.5 hour late afternoon game drive in Kruger National Park.

After your safari game drive you return to the lodge where you can unwind, have drinks and relax.

You can enjoy a delicious dinner which is included in your package and overnight in your en-suite tented suite.

Day 2: Full day game drive in Kruger

This morning you will enjoy coffee/tea and rusks before departing on a full day of game viewing in the Kruger National Park (Skukuza area). A Packed breakfast is included.  Game drives are in small groups in specially modified open sided land cruisers.

The Skukuza area is rich in wildlife and the elevated height of the 4×4 open sided vehicle makes for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities. You’ll enjoy lunch at one of the park’s restaurants.  (own account). After lunch we will start the afternoon game drive in the Kruger National Park.

During these game drives, you’ll see a wide variety of wildlife and have plenty of photographic opportunities. After our tour, we’ll make our way back to our lodge.

Dinner, which is included in your package & Overnight.

Day 3: Panorama route

Today you will go on a tour of the Panorama Route. You depart on this 8 hour scenic excursion just after a scrumptious full course breakfast. Scenic stops along the Panorama Route include

• God’s Window
• The Pinnacle
• Bourke’s Luck Potholes
• Blyde River Canyon / Three rondavels
• Wonderview
• Lunch along the route at your own cost.
• At least 1 of the following waterfalls: Lisbon Falls, Mac-Mac Falls, Lone creek Falls. (Depends on time of year and rainfall)

After our tour, we’ll make our way back to our lodge or camp.

You will have time to relax before the delicious evening dinner included in your package.

Day 4: Drop off in Johannesburg

This is the last day of your African Kruger safari. This morning you can do an optional  sunrise game drive or just just enjoy a late breakfast and relax at the lodge.

Around midday you depart for Johannesburg. Comfort stops on the way. Drop off at Johannesburg OR Tambo airport around 5.30 pm.

This is the end of your 4 day Kruger Park Tented Camp Safari.
