Day by Day Itinerary for Kruger and Manyeleti Safari

Day 1: Johannesburg to Kruger

This Kruger safari departs daily from Johannesburg. We pick you up around 8 am from your hotel or Johannesburg OR Tambo airport. We drive East passing picture pretty landscapes and farmlands.

You will also be able to buy snacks and refreshments during schedules comfort stops. ETA in Hazyview is around 1 pm.

After check in you will have time relax and freshen up before boarding an open sided landcruiser for an exciting 2 – 2.5 hour shared sunset game drive in Kruger National Park. The lodge is about 15 – 20  minutes drive from the Phabeni Kruger Gate.

After your safari game drive you return to the lodge where you can unwind, have drinks and relax.

Dinner & Overnight in Safari Tents

Day 2: Kruger National Park - Private Game Drive

This morning you will enjoy coffee/tea and rusks before departing on full day of game viewing in the Kruger National Park (Skukuza area). This is a private game drive. A Packed breakfast is included.  Game drives are conducted open sided land cruisers.

The Skukuza area is rich in wildlife and the elevated height of the 4×4 open sided vehicle makes for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities. You’ll enjoy lunch at one of the park’s restaurants.  (own account). After lunch we start the afternoon game drive in the Kruger National Park.

During these game drives, you’ll see a wide variety of wildlife and have plenty of photographic opportunities. After our tour, we’ll make our way to back to our lodge or camp.

You will have time to relax before dinner.

Overnight in Safari Tents or chalets.

Day 3: Panorama route

Today you will go on a tour of the Panorama Route. You depart on this scenic excursion just after a scrumptious full course breakfast. Scenic stops along the Panorama Route include

• God’s Window
• The Pinnacle
• Bourke’s Luck Potholes
• Blyde River Canyon
• Wonderview
• Three Rondawels
• Graskop & Pilgrim’s Rest
• At least 1 of the following waterfalls: Lisbon Falls, Mac-Mac Falls, Lone creek Falls. (Depends on time of year and rainfall)
• Lunch at a restaurant along the route (own cost)

Afterwards, we will transfer to the Manyeleti game reserve where we will check in at the main camp. After settling in you will depart on a riveting sunset game drive and night safari.

We will return to camp for a delicious dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Safari activities in greater Kruger - Manyeleti

Enjoy early morning coffee or tea served with biscuits before your thrilling safari activities. These include game drives and an optional bush walk. Game drives are conducted in the early morning and late afternoon- evening.

Day 5: Manyeleti to Johannesburg

This is the last day of your African Kruger safari. You will enjoy a final sunrise game drive followed by a hearty breakfast. Afterwards we will depart to Johannesburg. Lunch stop (own account) . You can also substitute a game drive for a bush walk (subject to availability).
