Itinerary for the 3 Day Dinokeng Wildlife Safari

Day 1:

We will pick you up mid-morning in Johannesburg and surrounding areas and make our way to Dinokeng Game Reserve. Pickup time will be around 11 am. Dinokeng is only 1.5 hours drive from Johannesburg.  After our arrival at Dinokeng you will check in at your lodge.

After check-in you can enjoy a light lunch (own account). After lunch you will have time to relax, explore the lodge and freshen up.  Late afternoon you depart on an exciting open vehicle game drive. Expect to see some of the big 5 as well as general game and bird life.

After your afternoon safari  you will return to the lodge where you can freshen up before dinner.

Enjoy drinks at the bar, a delicious dinner and other social activities before bed time.

Overnight in your well appointed room.

Day 2:

This morning you will enjoy coffee and biscuits before departing on and exciting sunrise safari activity. You can decide between an open vehicle game drive or a bush walk. Note bush walks need to be booked in advance and subject to availability.  A small surcharge applies to a bush walk.

After your game drive or bush walk, you return to camp for a hearty breakfast. You will have some time to relax before the afternoon activities. 

In the afternoon you will partake in another exciting safari activity. You can decide between an open vehicle game drive or a sunset boat cruise.

Late afternoon you return to lodge. You have time to freshen up, enjoy drinks at the bar before a scrumptious dinner in romantic setting.

Overnight in your well-appointed room.

Day 3:

Enjoy an early morning cuppa and biscuits before departing on an exciting open vehicle game drive.

After your sunrise game drive you can enjoy a hearty breakfast.

After check-out from the lodge we leave Dinokeng Game Reserve behind and return to Johannesburg.

Early afternoon drop off by arrangement.
