Pilanesberg Game Lodges

Pilanesberg is a popular destination for game drives, wildlife viewing and short safaris. It is a malaria free area that offers exciting wildlife and BIG 5 game viewing opportunities. On 2 or 3 day safaris most visitors stay over in one of the Pilanesberg game lodges. Most of these lodges are located in the reserve or close by. Pilanesberg game lodges offer accommodation that ranges from comfortable to luxury and offer all the important amenities and facilities a discerning guest would expect. Some lodges also offer tented accommodation in camp sites. Morokolo game lodge

This boutique style private lodge is tucked away in the Black Rhino reserve and offers luxury suites with private patios. ($190 sharing).

Tambuti lodge

This luxury lodge is surrounded by splendid Tambuti trees and offers contemporary chalet accommodation with amazing views. ($225 sharing).

Black Rhino game lodge

The Lodge is built in a Tamboti forest and overlooks a busy waterhole.  The luxury suites are very private and well equipped. The patio doors open out into the bush and the designer bathrooms also have their own private outdoor shower. ($170 sharing).

Kwa Maritane Lodge

Located on the slopes of an ancient volcano, Kwa Maritane Lodge offers guests all the amenities of a prime resort on the doorstep of the malaria-free Pilanesberg Game Reserve. The luxury rooms are all well-equipped. ($180 sharing).

Bakubung Bush Lodge

This lodge is built around a hippo pool and offers you comfort and tranquillity. All hotel rooms at doors leading onto either a private balcony or a patio and offer have panoramic views of the Park and the Hippo Pool. ($180 sharing)

The lodge has commanding views of the distant bushveld amphitheatre and is well positioned adjacent to the Wilderness Area. Accommodation consists of family suites and executive suites. This resort boasts a SPA that offers a true African experience. Accommodation consists of standard and luxury suits. ($220 sharing)

Bakgatla resort

At the foot of the Garamoga hill lies the Bakgatla Resort which consists of unique colonial-styled chalets and executive safari tents, complemented by rolling lawns and a well-positioned olympic-size swimming pool.  ($135 per unit)

Standard Pilanesberg Safari Lodges

Manyane Resort 

The thatched African styled chalets at Manyane Resort are comfortable with one or two bedrooms including a lounge, fully equipped kitchen and in certain Chalets an upstairs loft bedroom. ($75 per unit)
